I turned to acupuncture after an almost three month bout of stomach paralysis. Where traditional medicine had failed me I decided to look at other alternatives. I have had three sessions with Rory to treat my gastroparesis and at my most recent gastric emptying study, it was confirmed that for the first time, the liquid left my stomach and entered my small bowel and as of yesterday I was able to remove my NG tube and eat my first non liquid meal. I’ll never know how much the acupuncture contributed to my stomach motility, but I’m sure it was a contributing factor. Rory has been such a kind, considerate and gentle practitioner.
